March 3rd to 8th, 2024, the biennial global lighting event – the 12th Frankfurt International Lighting and Building Technology and Equipment Exhibition (Light+Building 2024) will grandly open at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition center in Germany. The theme of this exhibition is Sustainability, Connectivity, and Work+Living.

Frankfurt Exhibition is a professional lighting exhibition with global influence. It is not only a lighting product trading platform for the global market, but also a barometer for new lighting technologies and applications worldwide. The 2020 exhibition was postponed due to the global epidemic of COVID-19, and few Chinese enterprises participated in the 2022 exhibition for well-known reasons. Therefore, for most people in the Chinese lighting industry, it has been six years since the exhibition was held. Therefore, the enthusiasm of Chinese lighting enterprises to participate in the exhibition in Germany is quite high.

This exhibition has opened ten exhibition halls, including 0, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, attracting approximately 2200 exhibitors from around the world. Among them, 0, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 are lighting exhibition halls, and Chinese enterprises are mainly concentrated in Hall 10. Unlike previous years, there are also a considerable number of them distributed in Hall 4 and Hall 8.

According to the statistics, as many as 655 Chinese companies (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) participated in the exhibition, setting a new historical high and accounting for about 30% of whole exhibitors.
